I tried buying it on a British retailer's website and got two error messages: (1) essentially that the the guitar contained material from a protected species and cannot be shipped to the US, and separate from the CITES error message, (2) that it was not for sale to the US. So I thought that I might be able to get away with a foreign purchase.
Epi's website does not state the fretboard wood. In Canada, the retailers either had them in-store only (not available on-line) or did not ship to the US. But, like most exotic beauties, she was unreachable. It was a gorgeous shade, Inverness Green.
I could barely see the LCD screen in the sunlightĪ few months ago, the Epiphone Casino Coupe appeared on Epi's website.
